1. Age doesn't mean much in comparison to Ambition
Youth brings energy, but it's hunger that builds companies. A 22-year-old willing to sleep on the floor and iterate daily will outpace a 40-year-old coasting on experience.
2. Engineers > MBAs
Startups are built on products, not PowerPoints. You need people who can iterate rapidly, ship solutions, and learn in real-time. You can always hire business expertise later, but you can't hire your way out of a product that doesn't exist.
3. Being ballsy > being professional
Professional means playing by established rules. Ballsy means rewriting them. Startups succeed by asking for forgiveness rather than permission. Professionalism optimizes for not failing; boldness optimizes for winning.
